Hello everyone, my name is Vanya. I am twenty years old and I live in Maipu with my parents and my sister. Also I have a brother but he lives in Ñuñoa, close to his work. 

My mother is Mathematics' teacher and my father is computer engineer, both experts in mathematics and … I am so terrible at that.



I am in thirt year of visual arts. My hobbies are painting, embroidering, analog photography and mix some techniques too. 



Also enjoy dancing and singing cueca with my sister, she plays the cueca tambourine and I play the plates and when we are with her boyfriend, he plays the guitar.

I am a person who loves animals and I have 4 cats. 

Baltazar







At first we have only two: Florencia and Baltazar but one summer get to my garden a yellow cat that steal food from my cats, we try to shoo but he didn´t leave, then he stayed here and his name is Rufus. Next summer Rufus brought a friend and she stayed too, her name is Katia. 

We think they are a couple because they spend all day together.

    Hi Vanya! I love when people have a lot of cats, it's my dream have a lot of cats and dogs, i think they are so good company, better than a boyfriend hahah. Your photos are so beautiful, i like taking photos too.
    You sound like you come from a musicians family, i think is pretty awesome.

I share the same feeling with maths ahahaha I think I already forgot everything I've learned in school ahahaha you have very beautiful cats, I love them, I would like to adopt many of them, but I am very allergic. I found it beautiful what you transmit with your story, thank you for sharing that with us.

  Hi everyone! When I was a child, I knew that I loved art but I wanted to be a dentist because I thought if I had good grades, I would have to study a “difficult career”. But when I madured a little I realized that the art is the only way I want to follow and when I had to choose a major my only option was visual arts because there is nothing else that gives me more satisfaction than creating. My experience in the university has been very good, I have learned a lot of techniques, I have knew wonderful people and I love spend time on the grass of the faculty with my friends. Now I miss all that. In the future my dream job would be to make art and live on that but this is so difficult in this society.

Post graduate studies

 Hi everyone As a visual artist, when I finish the major I want to do a lot of things. After the study in the university I would like traveling to different countries and learning about its cultures and the art in the place. I would like to know about art in latin america and Europe. Also I am interested in the pedagogy. I think is very important to give the children a good artistic education because I believe the art makes us more sensitive people and help us to have the another way of looking the life. This is fundamental for the society and I would like to teach about that.  Besides I would like to study about art therapy and maybe combine it with teaching in the future. This subject is about how the art can be a good partner for the mental health and how it help us to understand ourselves. All this is very interesting fot me. I don´t know where and how I want to study this couses but I know I want to do that.

A photograph

  Hi everyone,  I took this photograph with my analog camera in Dicember 2019.  It is one of my favorite picture I have taken.  I took it in a protest near of my house and the person in the photo is my cousin. We are close and we enjoyed to go the protest together. That day we get together with our neighborns and I remember the women did an intervention on the street and it was exciting.  It was really a good day. I really like this photograph because It was one of the first analog photos  that I got the focus I wanted and I love that it´s in black and white.  Also I love the moment I remember when I see it, I think it represent very well the times of social outbreak, when we went out to the street and we were hoping that things would get better. Also this picture makes me nostalgic.
